12 March 2008 - The St. Peter Port lifeboat responded to the sighting of a liferaft off the Brayes to the North of Guernsey March 12th 2008. The raft was established to be empty and ex the French f.v.'Marie Louise Berthe' to which the St Peter Port Lifeboat had been called two days earlier. The fishing boat had sunk and the crew of 5 were saved from the water by another French boat in the vicinity before the lifeboat had arrived on scene.
