Guernsey Lifeboat Calendar

The Guernsey Lifeboat Guild is the fundraising committee for the Guernsey Lifeboat.

The Guild sells lifeboat souvenirs at their shop in the Clocktower in St. Sampson, which is open from 10.00am to 12.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They also go to the various regattas and shows throughout the year.

In addition they hold an island-wide Flag Day and organise various events each year.

They are also one of the 3 charities currently running the Charity Co-operative shop in the former Co-op Food Store in Market Street, selling books, clothes, small furniture, bric-a-brac etc. It is open from 10.00am to 12.30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and from 10.00am to 2.00pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.

This is a temporary shop kindly lent to the Guild by the new owners while they await planning permission. The other charities involved are the Guernsey Samaritans and ActionAid Guernsey.

Events

The Guernsey Lifeboat Guild will be having a Grand Ball on 4th. April at the OGH, with the Tracy Barlows as the band and a maritime theme. It is a black-tie event, with tickets costing £45 per person, available from Ali Coquelin at the Harbour Office.

Cheques need to be made out to RNLI please

The hotel can arrange reduced-rate rooms for people who wish to stay after the Ball.
